Columbus Technical College Team Brings Home SkillsUSA Gold!

July 3, 2007 – The Health Knowledge Bowl Team from Columbus Technical College earned first place bragging rights in the recent National SkillsUSA competition. The competition was held in Kansas City, Missouri June 25-30, 2007. Columbus Technical College Major Appliance Technology student, Keith Evans, won fourth place in his arena.

SkillsUSA, formerly known as VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America) is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations.
