Resource Fair Provides Needed Information

October 1, 2007 – On September 29, 2007, Columbus Technical College’s offices of Disability Services, Recruitment and Student Activities participated in the inaugural Citizens Have Opportunities Sent through Education and Networking (CHOSEN) Resource Fair and Fun Day. The event was held at Carver High School in Columbus. The fair provided an opportunity to learn about special needs resources in Columbus, Atlanta, and Albany. There were crafts, games, giveaways and health care screenings, in addition to educational workshops on Social Security and independent living.

Olive Vidal-Kendall/Director of Counseling, Special Populations and Disability Services for Columbus Technical College provides recruitment information to CHOSEN fair attendees.
