CTC + ATD = Track 2 Success!

Columbus Technical College (CTC) is now an official Achieving The Dream institution. Achieving The Dream (ATD) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping more community college students, particularly low-income students and students of color, stay in school and earn a college certificate and/or degree. ATD uses data collected from its participating colleges (168 nationwide!) to evaluate strengths and weaknesses. CTC uses the information gathered to help students overcome common obstacles like financial burdens, transportation issues, and even child care challenges. It’s all about the college being open and forthright in order to improve their students’ chances at success!

Coaches from ATD will be on campus November 14th and 15th to help our team kick-off this important partnership. CTC faculty and staff already got the party started with a good old-fashioned pep rally on Halloween! (see picture below)

Oct. 31, 2012: The “CTC Cheerleaders” led faculty and staff in a fun pep rally to get the ATD process really jump-started!
