Congratulations to the Medical Assisting class of Fall 2013; the students passed their board exams with a 100 percent rate on their first attempt! Program director Leslie Noles is extremely proud.
“This shows so much about the dedication of these students,” Noles said. “Sitting for a certification exam with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is not an easy task. Upon passing the boards, each student can use the specialized credentials of CMA (AAMA) behind their name. That is a huge coup when it comes to the hiring process.”
But the good news from the Medical Assisting program doesn’t stop there. The program recently underwent a self-study and accreditation site visit by the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB) and the site visitors will be suggesting a 10 year re-accreditation, which is a great accomplishment.
