Academic Advisement Center
The Academic Advisement Center (AAC) assists and enables students at Columbus Technical College to reach their academic potential. The AAC does this through the coordination and advisement of all students requesting assistance in general, and new students, provisionally admitted students, and students with academic deficiencies in particular. The AAC endeavors to guide students in making responsible choices toward achieving their educational goals from orientation to graduation in the following ways:
- Provide support, resources, and guidance to help students successfully complete academic programs.
- Work in conjunction with the CARE Center, Learning Support Center, and Student Affairs to identify and provide services to students in need of academic advisement.
- Support academic programs and curriculum by articulating accurate program requirements and providing accurate program advisement.
