CIST 1601 Information Security Fundamentals (2-2-3)
This course provides a broad overview of information security. It covers terminology, history, security systems development and
implementation. Student will also cover the legal, ethical, and professional issues in information security.
Prerequisites: CIST 1401 - Computer Networking Fundamentals or CIST 2441 - Cisco Networking for Home and Small Businesses; with a passing grade of a C or better or Program Managers Approval.
