Zell Miller Scholarship

A student who graduated from high school with a 3.7 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale and with an SAT score of 1200 or an ACT score of 26, on a single administered test, is eligible for the Zell Miller Scholarship. The Valedictorian or Salutatorian from a high school graduating class is considered automatically eligible, regardless of GPA/SAT/ACT. Starting Fall Semester 2011, current students will have to meet the GPA/SAT/ACT requirement from high school and have a least a 3.3 GPA at the end-of-spring checkpoint and the 30, 60, or 90 semester hour check points of their college coursework. To apply, students may complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov .

Georgia's Strategic Industries Workforce Development Grant Award (SIWDG)

Beginning with Fall Semester 2013, TCSG students who are receiving the HOPE Grant may also be eligible for additional financial assistance from Georgia's Strategic Industries Workforce Development Grant (SIWDG) Award for the following TCSG programs: (1) Early Childhood Care/Education and (2) Practical Nursing.

To qualify, a student must be enrolled in one of the above programs and receiving the HOPE Grant for the same term. All eligibility requirements for the HOPE Grant apply to SIWDG.
