Work EthicsThe Technical College System of Georgia and Columbus Technical College promote a formal program to address ethics in the workplace. Business and industry leaders have identified essential work ethics that should be taught and practiced in order to develop a viable and effective workforce. The ten traits identified are:
The evaluation of students' work ethics is part of the teaching process. Evaluation is based on the identified set of ten work ethics traits that are continually evaluated by instructors in the assessment process. Instructors provide feedback to students with clear directions for remedial action. A separate work ethics grade for each course will appear on students' transcripts. Last updated: September 4, 2008.
