Writing Assessment Exam

Columbus Technical College has implemented a new writing assessment exam.  The Writing Assessment Exam (WAE), that must be completed prior to registering for ENGL 1101.

In order to register for an ENGL 1101 course, you MUST have the appropriate WAE score in Banner or else web registration will block you from registering for the course. If you are unsure if you have taken the exam, you can contact the Writing Support Lab or your advisor to look for your WAE score in Banner. Because the test is hand-graded, students may only take the WAE once a semester.
