RNSG 2120 Medical Surgical II: Health Promotion, Maintenance, and Restoration across thelifespan (10-7-3)

This course continues health promotion,maintenance, and restoration across the lifespan. The focus is on nursing care of children and adults with common health restoration needs. The focus is on alterations in the following systems: cardiovascular, sensor neural, genitourinary, neuromuscular, endocrine, fluid and electrolytes, oncology, hematology, respiratory, and gastrointestinal alterations. Emphasis is placed on knowledge and skills needed to provide quality nursing care to clients with common systemic alterations in health status.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Nursing Fall semester.

Corequisites: RNSG 1150, RNSG 2100
