RNSG 2150 - Professional Practice VI: Complex Care for Adult and Child
Introduces care of clients with complex health problems. The focus is on multi-system disorders, emergency, and life threatening conditions;
e.g., cardiovascular, respiratory, shock, multisystem failure, renal, neurological, endocrine, gastrointestinal, integumentary, and oncologic
emergencies. Emphasis is placed on knowledge and skills in acute critical care nursing: cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, hemodynamic
monitoring, and respiratory/cardiovascular support.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Nursing Fall, Spring and Summer semester.
