CNA 100 - Patient Care Fundamentals - This course introduces the student to the occupation of Certified Nurse Assistant. Emphasis is placed on the theory and skills required to perform basic patient care. Focus areas include: resident/patient rights, patient safety, infection control, providing assistance with activities of daily living, restoring function, communication skills and providing for basic mental health and social need.
