COS 108 - Permanent Waving and Relaxing - Provides instruction in the application of permanent waves and relaxers. Precautions and special problems involved in applying permanent waves and relaxers will be emphasized. Application of perms and relaxers on live models is included. Topics include timed permanent wave, timed relaxer application, safety precautions, and Hazardous Duty Standards Act compliance. Prerequisite: COS 101
