DEN 1030 - Preventive Dentistry - Provides students with theory and clinical experience in the area of preventive and public health dentistry. Topics include etiology of dental disease, patient-education techniques, plaque-control techniques, types and use of fluoride, diet analysis for cavities control, and dietary considerations for the dental patient.
