DEN 1340 - Dental Assisting I - Introduces students to chair-side assisting with diagnostic and operative procedures. Topics include four-handed dentistry techniques, clinical data collection techniques, introduction to operative dentistry, dental material basics, and infection-control procedures in the dental environment with emphasis on CDC and ADA guidelines.
