HIT 197 - Healthcare Statistics - This course analyzes the study of methods and formulas used in computing and preparing statistical reports for healthcare services and vital records. It also focuses on the study of methods and techniques used in presenting statistical data. Topics include: reporting statistical data; mathematical review; healthcare overview and data collection; census; percentage of occupancy; mortality rates; autopsy rates; length of stay and discharge days; miscellaneous rates; data presentation and computerization.
