Help make your community safer, take “action-packed” classes
and start your career in the hot Homeland Security/Criminal Justice field
all at the same time! By the time you start your senior year, you'll
be almost 50% finished with the Homeland Security Technician
Certificate program – the standard most policing agencies prefer when hiring new
recruits. This program is taught by certified peace officers who've
been in the trenches and will share their real life stories and knowledge.

If you're at least 16 and interested in a career in the ever-growing
personal appearance field, then it's time to get your feet –or
should we say – your hands- wet through the Columbus Technical College's
Shampoo Technician certificate program. Once you complete this certification,
you will be able to apply for a shampoo license and be qualified as a salon
receptionist or a shampoo technician. All classes in the certificate program
transfer to the Cosmetology diploma program.
If you're like millions of other high school students, you're
not yet sure what path your future will take. If that's the case,
then the newest offering by Columbus Technical College is for you. The
Technical Communication Certificate (TCC) is a broad-based certificate
that will help prepare you for positions in a wide range of occupations
and you can knock out a fourth of the program before your senior year!
