Library
The Columbus Technical College Library has a collection of more than 28,000 books and audio/video material, 42,000 e-books, and 255 hard copy periodicals and newspapers. Services include computers with Internet access and instructional software, microform readers and printers, fax machine, library orientation, research assistance, and interlibrary loan. Current students may use the library services with their Student ID card. Please ask for assistance at the Circulation Desk.
Orientation:
The orientation is in Windows Media format. You can get the latest version of Windows Media Player for your computer free from www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia if needed.
Very High Bandwidth: For use on the Columbus Technical College campus only. A very high quality and large size, suitable for viewing on-campus.
Broadband: suitable for off-campus viewers, including cable modem and most DSL users.
We do not currently have an online version of the orientation that is suitable for dial-up users. Computers are available in the Library to view the orientation.

The library is located adjacent to Patrick Hall on the second floor of the Library building.
Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am to 8:30 pm
Friday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

GALILEO stands for Georgia Library Learning Online, an initiative of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. A World Wide Web-based virtual Library, GALILEO provides access to multiple information resources, including secured access to licensed products. Participating institutions may access over 130 databases indexing thousands of periodicals and scholarly journals including 19 online medical and health databases. Over 7000 journal titles are provided in full-text. Students, faculty, and Staff of Columbus Technical College may access the databases via their computers on campus or through an Internet connection from home with a password.
