Respiratory Care Receives Initial Accreditation

Oct. 1, 2009: Congratulations to the Columbus Technical College Respiratory Care Technology program. It has been awarded initial accreditation status by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). This means the program's initial accreditation status will remain in effect until September 30, 2014. This program has been a part of the Columbus Technical College curriculum for about three and a half years now and, so far, each student who completed the program has passed his or her certification exam on the first try. Way to go, Respiratory Care Technology!
