About 800 people attended the five-hour event at the Columbus Trade Center. Many area hospitals and healthcare providers participated in the event. Event coordinator Mark Ellis from the West Central Health District gave special thanks to Columbus Technical College students. "Each of you should get a pat on the back for a job well done," he wrote. "It could not have been done without you. I would like to add kudos to Columbus Technical College nursing students for picking up the slack where needed..."

This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Health Expo.
