Automotive Fundamentals Diploma

Program Description:

With cars continually becoming more computerized, the average person now requires the services of a trained automotive technician to perform even basic service on an automobile. That means job opportunities are increasing. This program begins with basic automotive repair and teaches the beginner automotive terminology, as well as repair, and enables graduates to gain entry-level positions. Your skills will be in demand at automotive dealerships, independent repair operations, and chain automotive stores. Opportunities are plentiful for those who want to start in a servicecenter establishment, working on brakes and tune-ups, steering and suspension, or electrical technology. You are prepared to become Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified, which is an industry standard. National chains provide many opportunities and national corporations need their fleets serviced.
