Degree: Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.)

Program Description:

This degree program teaches the fundamentals of repair for today’s highly computerized automobiles, preparing you to work in automotive dealerships, independent repair shops, and chain automotive stores. Begin with basic repair and learn to do brakes and tune-ups, steering and suspension, and electrical technology.

Career Information and Occupational Outlook:

This program has additional specialties, enabling you to enter the workforce as a transmission technician and advanced drivability technician with an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification. The Automotive Technology Degree Program gives you a greater choice of areas of specialization and offers you more opportunities to take advanced courses.
