Adult Education Program Information

Registration for all Adult Education classes can be completed in 5 easy steps: (For ELL Registration, please see the ELL Tab)

STEP 1: Complete Online GED Registration Form Below

STEP 2: You will receive a confirmation phone call within 48 hours 2 business days to select your start date and time of classes

STEP 3: Attend Intro to Adult Education class at Columbus Technical College Library- Room 610

STEP 4: Bring the following item: Non-expired State ID

  • If you are under the age of 18 (guardian must be present along with high school withdrawal paper)- Please complete Underage Youth Application
  • Please note: Due to limited computer test seating you must complete the online application located on the GED Registration Form Tab. You will be contacted within two business days.

    Columbus Technical College operates on a four-day week and is closed on Fridays

    Applications received after 5pm on Thursday will be contacted on Monday.

Please note that children are not allowed during classroom time

Seating is limited; therefore we only register students on a specific dates and times. 

In accordance with Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 50-36-1), applicants who are ages 18 and over must provide secure and verifiable documents and execute a signed and sworn affidavit verifying his or her lawful presence in the United States in order to be eligible to receive the public benefit of adult education.

Columbus Technical College operates on a four-day week and is closed on Fridays.
