Welcome!

Columbus Tech is focused on student learning and workforce development to meet the needs of its students and communities, providing affordable educational and workforce development opportunities for students of all ages.  Our college is the  primary source for workforce education, training, and development in six counties (Muscogee, Harris, Talbot, Stewart, Quitman, and Chattahoochee) within the Greater Columbus area. Columbus Tech has been an integral part of these communities since 1961.  Whether your goal is obtaining a high school equivalency, technical certification or diploma, industry-driven training, or an associate degree that will transfer, Columbus Tech is here to serve your needs.   Or, if you are an employer needing to advance your workforce, we are here to work with you to develop customized contract training as well.

Georgia’s HOPE Grant, Scholarship and the HOPE Career Grant, along with federal Pell grants, military benefits, and other opportunities make Columbus Tech the most affordable option for gaining credentials – with little or no debt – that prepare students to enter the workforce with the skills, training, and knowledge necessary for a successful future and economic independence.  Industry professionals collaborate with Columbus Tech to help ensure that classrooms and labs are up-to-date and comparable to what students will encounter when they enter the workplace.

Columbus Tech boasts an average 99 percent job placement rate, with almost 90 percent of those placements being in-field.  Instructors offer day, weekend, evening, and online courses for students’ scheduling convenience.

Whether you are a high school student wanting to earn an employable credential or get a tuition-free jump start on college through Georgia’s Dual Enrollment program, need to obtain a high school equivalency, or are ready to start on the path to your dream career through an affordable and accredited college education, Columbus Tech is here to serve.  We look forward to seeing you soon!
