CTC Student Named First Runner-Up in the State

Columbus Technical College respiratory care technology student Trey Brown has been named the Technical College of Georgia's (TCSG) first runner-up in its annual Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) competition.  The system reports an annual enrollment of approximately 150,000 students.

The announcement came during an annual conference in Atlanta that features the top students from technical colleges across the state.  Trey and his wife are both completing the respiratory care program and plan on continuing their education at Columbus State University.  Trey hopes to eventually be a physician's assistant.  Also at the conference, the TCSG recognizes the outstanding technical education instructor of the year.  The nominee from Columbus Technical College was chemistry instructor and science department chair, Alicia Anderson. Congratulations to both Trey and Alicia.  Y'all make us proud!
