Admission to Columbus Technical College is multi-step process which consists of evaluation of prior academic experience and assessment for postsecondary readiness of eligible applicants.
Columbus Tech offers the ACCUPLACER exam for applicants that have not taken the SAT, ACT, or did not meet the minimum requirements for those exams.
Other measures that Columbus Tech uses to assess program readiness and grant admissions to the college are:
- High School GPA (Entry Level Workforce Certificates)
- HOPE GPA
- GME Milestones (9th Grade Lit Comp)
- TABE Scores
- PSAT Scores
Contact the Admissions Office (706.641.1847) for the requirements of the above mentioned additional measures.
Transfer applicants may be exempt from the ACCUPLACER exam and exempt from providing official test scores if they have successfully completed college level English and Math, and have submitted transcripts for evaluation.
