The greater Columbus, Georgia region has been incredibly supportive of Columbus Technical College and its mission of educating and providing work-ready skills for anyone in our community. Whether their support comes from our relationship with Fort Benning to our instructors/trainers coming to a company to provide services to allowing our students to use clinical space in hospitals or other medical facilities to apprenticeship programs that often lead to high-paying full time employment to scholarships for students in specific programs, the philanthropic spirit of this area is its life blood. For that, we are grateful.
In an effort to give back some of what has been so generously provided to them, Columbus Technical College students, faculty, and staff often come together through projects like helping build homes for the needy, collecting canned goods to donate to area food shelters, providing health and/or hygiene services for the area’s indigent citizens, and much more.
